CHICAGO – Chanda Gunn was a freshman goalie at Wisconsin when epilepsy began to take over her life.
She was far from her home in suburban Los Angeles, trying to adjust to college life and college sports, confused by the sudden ineffectiveness of medicine she took to control her seizures.
