Marc Galanter, a professor emeritus at the University of Wisconsin Law School, began looking into the phenomenon about a decade ago and has written a book about it, Lowering the Bar: Lawyer Jokes and Legal Culture, which he’ll discuss Wednesday at Books & Books in Coral Gables.
