It was titled ââ?¬Å?Characterization of the Reconstructed 1918 Spanish Influenza Pandemic Virus.ââ?¬Â The Spanish Flu Pandemic killed 50 million to 100 million people. And there, in the pages of Americaââ?¬â?¢s most prestigious scientific journal, was the formula for destruction.
