City’s New ‘Bar Czar’ Works To Alleviate Alcohol-Related Problems

MADISON, Wis. — The mayor’s newly appointed “bar czar” has been on the job for five months, and WISC-TV caught up with the man to see what it is he actually does.
Joel Plant is Madison’s new alcohol policy coordinator. He makes $52,000 per year, with half being paid for by the University of Wisconsin.
