Madison West junior Terrell Carey is drawing interest from programs around the country including Purdue and Wyoming, but it was a recent visit to Wisconsin that had him smiling.
“It’s a real nice feeling knowing that you’re right down the street. You have the UW talk to you, knowing that you’re just so close to coaching staff.”
Carey isn’t the only local player on the Badgers’ radar. Madison Memorial’s Jake Ferguson, the grandson of Barry Alvarez, is also among those receiving interest. Paul Chryst’s new staff is making sure no stone is left unturned in the state.
