UW Extension puts likely job cut at 80; 40 now vacant

University of Wisconsin’s Cooperative Extension — the division that provides practical programming to farmers, families and youth in rural and urban areas across the state — estimates it will need to cut 80 positions to cover an annual $3.6 million cut in state funding.
