Public pressure may have cost Paul Barrows a high-powered job at UW-Madison last summer. Now his lawyer hopes it will win the position back.
UW-Madison Chancellor John Wiley in June eliminated a $150,000 consultant position he had created for Barrows amid outrage from state lawmakers over his eight months of paid leave and allegations of sexual harassment. Wiley demoted Barrows to a lower-level position paying $72,000 per year.
