MADISON, Wis. – About 500 limited-term jobs at the University of Wisconsin-Madison would become permanent work under a proposed plan, officials said.
Many of the employees who would be affected work for the athletic department and Wisconsin Union. Many of the workers perform jobs similar to permanent employees without the same pay, benefits and job security.
