Waukee schools must spend an undetermined amount of money to create a new logo for everything from uniforms to the “W” logo carved out of stone in front of the district administration building if officials wish to avoid a legal battle.Waukee school officials have been told by the University of Wisconsin that the two schools’ W’s look too much alike and that the university owns all rights to a trademarked W logo.
