UW program to train new rural doctors to curb shortage (AP)

MADISON � A new program at the University of Wisconsin will immerse medical students in rural practices in an attempt to curb the shortage of physicians in those areas.The School of Medicine and Public Health�s four-year program will parallel the school�s standard doctor curriculum, but use a network of clinical partnerships to address the need.
