After two random sexual assaults on campus, students are hoping the SAFE-walk and safe ride programs can expand.
The programs offer escorted walks home and rides for students after dark – students want the program to expand to later hours. But the safe program says increased demand already has them stretched to their limit and that change cannot come overnight.
