One of the bolder ideas to stop the “brain drain” is free tuition for students who graduate from the University of Wisconsin system if they agree to work in the state for up to 10 years after getting their degree.
A commission looking at the two-year colleges tossed out this idea as a way to keep our best and brightest in Wisconsin after graduation.
