Mary Lu Anderson has been waiting for years to accompany her granddaughter to Grandparents University on the UW-Madison campus.
This week her dream came true.
“Ever since Amira was born I’ve been waiting to do this,” said Anderson, 65, an alumna of the University of Wisconsin. “I postponed knee surgery to be here.”
