MADISON, Wis. — The new Big Ten Network launched Friday night, but many Badgers fans in the area won’t be able to view it because a deal didn’t come together with cable companies.There is no deal in place for the network to have a home on Charter Cable. The Big Ten Network wants to be part of the extended cable lineup, but Charter wants to put the network in the sports tier option, meaning that only those who want it will get it.
