Dane County Sheriff Dave Mahoney would like to end Huber jail-release, save several million dollars, put all Huber-eligible inmates into the community, and rely on high technology monitoring.
Mahoney said before the escape of inmate Jesse Miller, Miller would have qualified for the proposed expansion of the high-tech community supervision.
