UW-Madison Law Professor Speaks Out On Controversial Class Remarks

UW-Madison Law Professor Leonard Kaplan told a packed meeting of Madison Rotary at a downtown hotel his remarks concerning the Hmong culture during a February class session were part of a discussion “intended to be sympathetic to the Hmong people.”

“A distorted view of my Feburary 15th class became international news,” Kaplan, 66, told the audience as he stood behind his February class presentation.
