MADISON â?? A check of someoneâ??s fingerprints failed to match those of a fugitive wanted in the 1970 bombing of a University of Wisconsin-Madison building, the FBI said Tuesday.
Prosecutors had requested the check in a sealed court filing last week, prompting speculation that authorities might have Leo Burt in custody after 37 years and wanted to confirm his identity.
