UW Students Stumping in Iowa

The 2008 Presidential election is about to officially get underway, with voters in Iowa kicking off the Primary voting season with their caucus next week.

The election is still more than 10 months away, but students at the University of Wisconsin have been actively involved in campaigns from the start. A student group organized senator Barack Obama’s fundraiser at Monona terrace this fall, and many student groups have been sending volunteers down to Iowa to campaign.
