UW campus cooling issues lead to closure of multiple campus buildings

The UW-Madison campus experienced a significant break in a chilled water main supply line at one of the three heating and cooling plants that serve campus on June 17, according to an email sent to students, faculty and staff Friday. The break has caused campus buildings to have reduced cooling capacities this week, according to the email from UW Vice Chancellor for Finance and Administration Robert Cramer.
