Sam Dean is often spotted juggling while running on trails around town. He is chasing the title of world’s fastest known “joggler.”
Dean is a teacher at Madison Country Day School in Waunakee and a runner, who learned how to run and juggle when he was a member of the UW-Madison marching band, playing trumpet. The assistant director of bands at the time, Alexander Gonzalez, inspired Dean to try running and juggling at the same time.
