A $27 million investment from the Wisconsin Alumni Research Foundation will advance four high-impact research initiatives at the University of Wisconsin–Madison, the university announced Tuesday.
The investment comes as federal agencies and industry partners increase investments in these strategically important fields.
WARF said it will help UW–Madison strengthen its research leadership, diversify its funding portfolio and pursue new technologies and startup companies.
