Two Fitchburg men were arrested following a reported sexual assault early Saturday at Goodspeed Family Pier near Alumni Park, UW-Madison police said.
Police received a call from a concerned bystander reporting a disturbance on the pier at around 4:10 a.m.
Responding officers learned that a sexual assault had occurred. A 31-year-old man and a 27-year-old man were arrested and taken into custody.
