For the first time in four years, UW-Madison has cracked the top 10 among public schools in U.S. News and World Report’s annual list of best universities in the country.
UW-Madison ranked eighth, in a six-way tie, among public schools and 34th overall, according to the rankings released Tuesday. Last year, the flagship university placed 12th among public schools and 36th overall.
