The University of Wisconsin-Madison’s Great Lakes Indigenous Law Center is using a new grant to help native nations. The center was awarded $116,024 from the Reilly-Baldwin Wisconsin Idea Endowment Grant.
The money is being put toward the creating a handbook to help native nations navigate the processes of acquiring and receiving donated land.
