Man pleads not guilty in attempted sexual assault of UW Hospital employee

The man accused of trying to sexually assault a University Hospital employee pleaded not guilty on Wednesday in Dane County Court, online court records show.

Dontel Coney appeared for a preliminary hearing and arraignment, where Court Commissioner John Rome ordered a bindover in the case.

Coney, 44, is accused of attempted first-degree sexual assault- by use of a dangerous weapon, false imprisonment and bail jumping.
