About two dozen UW-Madison alumni and donors wrote a letter to the president of the UW Board of Regents on Wednesday expressing dismay and disappointment that interim Chancellor Eric Wilcots isn’t a finalist for the permanent position.
The Wisconsin State Journal obtained the letter Thursday, ahead of the Universities of Wisconsin announcing the three finalists. Wilcots isn’t among them.
