E. Joyce Mohberg passed away Tuesday, July 1, 2008. Joyce completed a Ph.D. in biochemistry at the University of Wisconsin in 1961 and embarked on her first career as a basic research scientist, doing pioneering work in the cell biology and biochemistry of Physarum polycephalum at the McArdle Laboratory for Cancer Research at UW-Madison.
