MADISON, Wis. — Madison residents have another tool to help fight crime — texting on their cellular phones.
Officials said the public can now use a cell phone to text anonymous tips to Crime Stoppers.
Police said the change is because texting seems to be where the future of communication is headed. They say more technology will help stop crime.
