André DeShields, UW alumnus and a Broadway actor, will not direct “Hair” at University Theatre this spring as planned and announced.

Instead, the actor and director, 62, will appear in “Impressionism” with Joan Allen and Jeremy Irons in a Broadway production directed by Jack O’Brien.quare
