Business school dean to head fundraising task force for UW-Madison

The dean of the Wisconsin School of Business will lead a task force charged with studying ways to raise private money for the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Chancellor Biddy Martin announced Wednesday at a Rotary Club luncheon.

The effort comes at a time when the university must increasingly look to private revenue sources to fund the university, she said, as state and federal funding have stagnated.
