Patrick Farrell, who served as provost at UW-Madison until December of 2008, was named the new provost and vice president for academic affairs at Lehigh University in Bethlehem, Pa.
In December, UW-Madison Chancellor Biddy Martin removed Farrell from his post in an effort to put her own leadership team in place on campus.
