A Verona man was killed while diving in Lake Michigan Saturday.
The University of Wisconsin late tonight said the diver was 41-year-old Deep Varma.
He was a member of the Hoofers.
UW officials in a statement said Varma was part of a group of eleven people who were diving to the scene of a shipwreck about four miles off the shore of Port Washington.
