Robert Joseph “Bob” Seidl died on Sept. 19, 2009, at the age of 94. After graduating from the UW-Madison in 1937, Bob worked briefly for several private companies before joining, in 1944, the United States Forest Products Laboratory in Madison, where he worked as a research scientist and later manager.
