Damon Williams, vice provost for diversity and climate, the University of Wisconsin-Madisonâ??s chief diversity officer, is always excited about the chance to talk about diversity. And there wonâ??t be too many better opportunities to do that than at the University of Wisconsin-Madisonâ??s 2009 Diversity Forum, which will be held all day long at the UW-Madison Memorial Union on Oct. 8.Â
“The purpose of this forum is to be a part of a campus wide conversation on what it means to be a 21st century research university in terms of diversity,” Williams says. “How do we make this more fundamental to what makes us such a great public university?”
