The dairy science department of the University of Wisconsin-Madison has lost a giant. Professor Emeritus Dr. David Dickson died on Friday after a long battle with cancer at the age of 71. Although he had been retired as an instructor for a number of years, he remained active as one of the school?s dairy judging team coaches.
