The website used American Community Survey data to “identify markets that have the highest levels of collective brainpower, as indicated by their residents? educational attainment.” Not surprisingly, the report was top heavy with college towns….Madison checked in at No. 8 — one spot behind Boston and one ahead of San Francisco/Oakland.
