Hello. Please hold. In lean times for all sorts of educational enterprises, the jockocracy at the University of Wisconsin-Madison has made a sacrifice. Of course, it took a report from the Legislative Audit Bureau to reveal the athletic department’s enormous cell phone bills. But word comes that, indeed, the athletic department has decided it can reduce the number of cell phones it pays for by 10 percent, and probably avoid nonsense like the $1,455.85 monthly bill that just one coach ran up.
