With all due respect to the many other college bowl games – lower-end entries such as the Poinsettia Bowl and the Little Caesars Bowl, and even the more marquee bowl names such as Sugar, Cotton and Orange – it is not for nothing that the Rose Bowl is called The Granddaddy of Them All.
