As graduation fast approaches, many college students are dreaming of their first real job, a good salary and a nice apartment.
For some, though, it means moving home with mom and dad.
Alison Kilkelly, 23, graduated from UW-Madison in December with a psychology degree, but moved back in with her parents in Madison “because I didn’t have any income,” she said. She’s been waitressing. Her search for a real job just paid off with an offer from Marshall Field’s, where she’ll be cosmetics manager.
