As far as University of Wisconsin athletic director and football coach Barry Alvarez is concerned, Mike Eaves has already earned the right to be one of the highest-paid men’s college hockey coaches in the nation.
“You pay a guy what he’s worth,” Alvarez said. “I think he’s an elite coach.”
