UW-Madison finds ways to cope with heat as many campus buildings remain uncooled

As the temperature climbed past 80 degrees in UW-Madison?s Humanities building Tuesday, Julia Jensen came prepared to make it through her class. She brought a handheld fan. With air conditioning off or barely circulating in many of UW-Madison?s buildings because of a cooling failure earlier this week, employees and students took to different methods to cope.
