A top UW-Madison administrator, Paul Barrows, will return to work Monday after a seven- month paid personal leave triggered in part by stress over a failed relationship with a graduate student, university officials said Thursday.
Barrows’ leave started in early November. During it, he continued to earn his full annual salary of $191,749 and covered his time away with accrued sick time and vacation days.
