UW-Madison has been ranked in the top 25 of universities worldwide when it comes to the quantity and quality of research studies published. The 2012 Performance Ranking of Scientific Papers for World Universities puts UW-Madison at No. 22 out of 500 research universities included in the study produced by National Taiwan University.
