300,000-gallon manure spill the second to hit Lake Mendota watershed in a year

According to Department of Natural Resources records, a pipeline breach in February at the UW-Madison?s Arlington agricultural research station in the town of Leeds in Columbia County also released 300,000 gallons of manure.
