Andy Baggot: Seeds for UW women’s soccer team’s NCAA berth were planted a year ago

A year after the Badgers were derailed by poor locker room chemistry and a sense of entitlement, they stand unified, determined and, to a degree, fulfilled. UW achieved its stated goal of winning the Big Ten Conference title — its first since 2005 — and secured a No. 4 seed and a first-round home match in the NCAA tournament.
