Lindy’s Sports ranked Kaminsky the No. 1 center in the nation. Sporting News, meanwhile, had the versatile 7-footer as the No. 2 in its ratings of power forwards. Athlon Sports didn’t have individual player rankings, but it did name Kaminsky a second-team preseason All-American and played it safe by listing him as a center/forward.
