Defenseman Jack Dougherty, an incoming freshman by way of the U.S. National Team Developmental Program, was taken in the second round (No. 51 overall) by Nashville. Defenseman Matt Berkovitz, who played at Ashwaubenon High School last season and is projected to enroll at UW in 2015-16, was tabbed by Anaheim in the fifth round (123rd overall). Center Matt Ustaski, an incoming freshman who played last season with Langley of the British Columbia Hockey League, was selected by Winnipeg in the seventh round (192nd overall).
