Sophomore Morgan McDonald took to the spotlight Saturday, breaking the University of Wisconsin record in the mile en route to a fourth-place showing in the invitational section at the Armory Track Invitational. The native of Sydney, Australia, clocked in at 3 minutes, 57.83 seconds, one tenth of a second faster than Austin Mudd’s 3:57.93 set in 2013.
