The Rose Bowl ring is kept in a jewelry case in University of Wisconsin football coach Bret Bielema?s house and never gets worn.
“It?s nothing I would wear around because that Rose Bowl (emblem) on the side wasn?t a winning performance,” Bielema said.
Bielema was a sophomore reserve defensive lineman playing for Iowa in the Hawkeyes? 46-34 loss to Washington in 1991, the highest-scoring game in Rose Bowl history.
