Hockey player Blake Geoffrion and swimmer Maggie Meyer have been named the University of Wisconsinâ??s athletes of the year, the school announced Wednesday. Geoffrion, a senior forward, led the Badgers to the NCAA championship game and became UWâ??s first Hobey Baker Award winner this season, while Meyer is a 2009-10 USA Swimming National Team member and a five-time All-American for the Badgers.
